PRESS RELEASE: OPD5 announces temporary office closure due to COVID-19

OVERTON, Nevada (Nov. 24, 2020) – OPD5 has announced the temporary closure of both the Overton and Mesquite offices in order to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19. Beginning Monday, Nov. 30, OPD5 will close public access to its offices and facilities and plans to reopen Monday, Dec. 14.

Customers who have essential business needs that cannot be conducted electronically, such as new customers signing up for service, can schedule an appointment, if needed, to meet with a customer service representative.

OPD5 staff will still be available during regular business hours between 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. via phone and e-mail to answer customer inquiries. The OPD5 crew will also continue to operate, maintain, and conduct any system repairs if a power interruption or problem were to occur during this time.

OPD5 offers a variety of contactless payment options. Payments can be made online or through the mobile app, which is available for download through the Apple Store and Google Play store. Customers can also make payments by phone using the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system or by speaking with a customer service representative. Additionally, customers can set up autopay from a debit or credit card or checking or savings account.
