Accounting Clerk Position

OPD5 is seeking to fill an Accounting Clerk Position. Applicants having a bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred or the equivalent combination of five years of accounting experience and education. This position requires that you are an analytical problem solver, organized, and possess excellent written and oral communication and leadership skills. Must have a valid driver’s license, be a legal resident of the United States. Pre-employment drug screening and physical required. Competitive wage, retirement, and benefits available.

 

Job Duties:

Under the direction of the department Manager, this position will be responsible for the overall accuracy of the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers. This position will prepare and record all assets, liabilities, revenue, and expense entries by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies.  Applicant must have knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), budgeting, financial statement preparation, be proficient in Microsoft products and any other duties assigned by the Manager.
