Description
Recently, as part of the Nevada Electric Highway (NEH) project, two Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station locations were completed within OPD5’s service territory, two EV charging stations at ARCO ampm in Glendale, and three more at Eagle’s Landing Travel Plaza in Mesquite.
With the completion of this project and charging stations previously installed in NV Energy’s service territory, Interstate 15 (I-15) now meets all the criteria to be the State of Nevada’s first federally-designated electric vehicle corridor.
The designation and ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at Eagle’s Landing Travel Plaza on January 29, 2020, at 9:00 AM. Governor Sisolak, State, and local officials will be in attendance. We hope that you can join us on this special occasion.
