OPD has contracted with a private company to answer all after hours, weekend, and Holiday telephone calls. You will be asked these questions

G. You will be asked to agree to a minimum 50 dollar charge, (you are not charged for any work on the power company side of the meter. Charges are made for after hours reconnect, repairs to the home owners panel and main breaker reset, please check your equipment if your residence is the only one with no power in the area).
H. Reason for the call (power out – ½ power – dim lights – low hanging wire in street – power pole hit – tree in the line, these are examples of outage situations).

This information will be forwarded to OPD personnel who will return your call and get any other information needed. In the event a major outage has occurred your call may not be returned, please be patient and OPD staff will try to keep you informed as to the status of the outage.
